The QE20 Grade 1 Emergency Warning and Control Intercom Equipment (EWCIE) is a sophisticated system capable of managing up to 224 evacuation zones from a single panel. It offers independent alert and evacuation tones, emergency public address, complex cascading, and customizable voice messaging to ensure clear and precise communication during emergencies.

This versatile system can be networked via IP technology, enabling seamless voice and data communication across multiple QE20 control panels or amplifier racks. The QE20 supports four amplifier options—D-Class 25W, 60W, 120W, and 240W—allowing it to cater to both small and large-scale applications. Each amplifier operates independently per zone but can be combined for higher power needs. Optional 100V splitter modules offer short-circuit isolated outputs for greater redundancy in speaker circuits, ensuring reliability during emergencies.

For enhanced functionality, the QE20 can be integrated with Emergency Intercom Control and Indicating Equipment (EICIE), compliant with AS4428.4 standards. This integration provides vital intercommunication between building zones, helping fire wardens or emergency personnel coordinate and execute effective evacuation strategies.
